Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Support the Warehouse Supervisor in the execution of all tasks and duties in the warehouse based on predetermined expectations created by management
- →Responsible for overall dock flow and team breaks
- →Manage daily shipping schedule and perform inventory and yard checks to ensure accurate information is provided for proper decision making
- →Assist the Warehouse Supervisors in handling daily communication with 3rd party partners
- →Assist the warehouse operator team as needed throughout the day
- →Perform receiving duties as needed during scheduled and unanticipated time off
- →Work cooperatively with colleagues and other departments and communicates relevant information in a timely and effective manner allowing them to fulfill their duties.
- →Provide feedback and recommendations to their supervisor regarding changes to improve the operation and implements action plans as directed
- →Inform supervisor of major team developments and concerns in a timely and effective manner
- →Execute inventory operational controls including maintaining necessary supply of inventory of assigned items
- →Perform and upholds all warehouse policies and procedures and report any violations observed to supervisor
- →Become an active member in the safety team and ensure a safe environment by identifying and rectifying safety concerns and reporting any issues to maintenance and Supervisor team
- →Coordinate and ensure that Sanitation responsibilities in the Packaging areas, Batching areas, and VTIS areas are maintained throughout their shifts. Maintain a state of “Audit-Readiness” with the physical condition of the area, as well as documentation
- →Periodically complete clerical work including shift report when covering for Supervisor
- →Inform other departments of necessary changes or inventory discrepancies. Report to Processing, Packaging, Warehouse, and Materials Managers for any problems encountered, and then follow any further instruction from management.
- →Follow all safety and working rules.
- →Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- →Maintain budgeted lanes and provide explanation of variance to plan.
- →Maintain customer and supplier relationships through timely communications.
Requirements

- Must work in a safe manner and follow all safety procedures including use of safety equipment.
- Must be able to effectively schedule trucks with the expectation of 100% on-time delivery.
- Must be able to interpret production schedules and plan based on volume and transit times.
- Must be able to represent Fairlife in a professional manner when speaking with customers and suppliers.
- Must be willing to ask for assistance when the process is unclear.

- Must be able to operate equipment efficiently.
- Ability to work different shift including off shifts.
- Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety.
- Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas.
- Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.
- Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
- Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.
- Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
- In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.
