Responsibilities

The HR Executive is a regional role and will be responsible to provide the people day to day HR Operations support, ensuring smooth HR Operations and providing administrative HR support across our Asia markets. You will also partner with leaders and regional HR Asia team to support in HR activities including Recruitment, Employee Relations and compliance, roll our global and Asia wide people initiatives as well as business improvement plans to build FCTG culture into an employer of choice for Asia.

This role will also be responsible acting as the local HR person to handle all employee relations, ensure statutory compliance, handle company risk for Philippines market.

  • Support day to day HR Operations, Joiner, Movers & Leavers (JML) process, and administrative tasks across Asia region
  • Maintain, review and update HR information in employee data and records, Workday system and documentation accurately
  • Responsible for local implementation of global/headquarter HR policies
  • Draft, update and issuing documents such as employment contracts, job descriptions, employee handbook, forms, SOP, policies and other HR documents
  • Update Intranet Navigator with relevant and latest HR information
  • Ensure that all employee probationary reviews are monitored and internal processes are completed in a timely manner
  • Liaise and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure HR compliance with local employment law
  • Coordinate and push out training to employees in Workday for new employee onboarding or roll out from Global compliance initiatives
  • Prepare and compile HR reporting when ad hoc required
  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, screening, interview coordination and offer preparation when assigned
  • Using PageUp recruitment system and diversified sourcing channels to attract and recruit high quality candidates for Flight Centre Travel Group talent pipeline
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee onboarding and induction briefing
  • Act as the primary HR contact person within the business for HR related enquiries and matters
  • Lead and drive Philippines Culture Club, Support the execution of internal company events and activities
  • Able to act within and interpret company policies and procedures and recommend solutions outside scope of policy as appropriate to add value
  • Manage in handling employee grievances and disciplinary matters for Philippines and implement corrective measures for them
  • Coordinate and gather employee feedbacks from the ground through regular check in with employees and team leaders
  • Ensure HR documents and processes comply with local labor laws and regulations
  • Keep up to date with employment act changes across the different countries
  • Maintain proper filing and record-keeping systems for audit purposes
  • Support internal audits and provide up to date records documentation when required
  • Use best practice knowledge from the external market and other HR specialist knowledge to help guide internal policies and interventions
  • Work collaboratively with regional HR Asia teams members to align and achieve business and people initiative
  • Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee’s termination
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects as required

Requirements

  • At least 2 - 4 years professional HR experience in a generalist or operational HR role
  • Strong knowledge of Philippines labour Law, basic employment labour law and HR practices for Singapore and Malaysia 
  • Has experience in handling employee relations matters 
  • Prior exposure to multi-country or regional HR support is an advantage
  • High level of maturity and tact to deal individuals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word & Microsoft Power Point.
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
