At Floor Coverings International, we bring the flooring showroom directly to our customers’ homes. Using our Mobile Flooring Showroom, you’ll guide homeowners through flooring options, help them visualize their new space, and deliver a seamless project experience from consultation to installation.
Our customers consistently rate us 4.8/5 nationally and 5/5 locally, and we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of delivering that same exceptional experience.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct in-home design and sales consultations
- Build trust with customers and guide them through flooring selections
- Recommend solutions that balance style, function, and budget
- Close sales by clearly presenting value and options
- Manage proposals, follow-ups, and project details
- Partner with the team to ensure a seamless installation experience
- Generate referrals and build long-term customer relationships
- Develop and maintain relationships with trade partners, remodelers, and local networking groups
- Identify and build opportunities within commercial accounts and projects
- Actively network in the community to grow brand awareness and drive new business
What Success Looks Like
- 45%+ close rate on appointments
- Consistent 5-star customer reviews
- Strong referral and repeat business pipeline
- Profitable projects and happy customers
Who You Are
- 2+ years of sales experience in flooring, interior design, or construction preferred
- Strong communicator who can build trust quickly
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working independently and using technology
- Valid driver’s license

Compensation & Benefits
- $50,000 draw + uncapped commission (6-figure potential)

Todd and Lauren are a husband-and-wife ownership team behind Floor Coverings International of Columbus, bringing a shared vision of independence, flexibility, and community to their business. They have a lively home that includes one dog and one cat, they value balance, connection, and enjoying life both inside and outside of work.
Todd and Lauren are a husband-and-wife ownership team behind Floor Coverings International of Columbus, bringing a shared vision of independence, flexibility, and community to their business. They have a lively home that includes one dog and one cat, they value balance, connection, and enjoying life both inside and outside of work.
Both Todd and Lauren reached pivotal turning points in their careers that led them to pursue something more meaningful and personal. Lauren made the decision to leave her previous industry, while Todd stepped away from his family’s farm—both ready for a new chapter. Drawn back to the Columbus area, they decided to turn a long-standing dream into reality: owning and building a business together.
With guidance from a trusted Franchise Consultant—recommended by Lauren’s brother, who is also a franchise owner—they found Floor Coverings International to be the perfect fit.
