As an investment firm regulated under the IFR/IFD framework, risk management is central to how we grow responsibly. Our EMEA Risk team works hand-in-hand with Trading, Quant and Technology.

We are looking for an ambitious Junior Risk Manager to join our growing EMEA Market and Credit Risk team. The ideal candidate is a proactive person who enjoys the challenge of helping shape how we manage risk in our dynamic company. Responsibilities

→Interact closely with trading desks to become intimately familiar with their exposures, trading strategies and market activity
→Perform trading desk risk assessments to update identified market- and credit risks, monitoring requirements, market risk stress tests, and limits
→Analyze trading desks’ capital usage and return on capital, connecting it to entity-level risk capacity
→Ensure the required tools and reports to facilitate risk analysis are in place
→This role is full time onsite in our Amsterdam location
→This role includes participation in a weekend on-call rotation, with coverage required approximately once per month.

Requirements

Relevant university degree in Econometrics, Mathematics or Finance
Proactive mindset, problem solving/analytical skills, willingness to learn, and fluency in English
Clear and concise communicator
Ability to adapt quickly in our fast paced environment
Experience with Excel, SQL, Python and/or C#
Interest in applying AI and automation tools to improve processes and risk analysis
Have strong affinity to work in a trading firm and interest in asset classes we trade (equity, fixed income, commodities, FX or Digital Assets)
