Travel Requirement 80%

This position requires frequent travel and overnight stays. Travel time will primarily be spent building community-based networking partnerships. This position will require you to spend some time at our plants during their working hours (usually 3rd shift) as well as support the grassroots recruiting efforts with networking efforts within the community (requires driving to multiple networking opportunities within the market you support).

Working with plant level leaders and local community outreach organizations, the Recruiting Coordinator will drive sourcing and community engagement efforts in the local area. You will have the opportunity to build and foster local community networks, interview, and engage the local workforce, and work with other organizations in the community to build better brand recognition in the market you support.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sustainable partnerships with local community sources, colleges, military bases, and professional networks to source and recruit general labor hourly team members.
  • Attend and participate in key networking and recruiting events in the local community.
  • Partner with plant hiring managers and divisional operations teams to understand needs and build relevant community partnerships to aid in proactively resolving staffing concerns.
  • Prescreen and interview candidates utilizing all methods by location and availability including the use of our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Conduct new hire orientation if necessary.
  • Establish a cadence of communication with the divisional and plant leadership as well as the larger talent acquisition team to provide updates on all aspects of staffing.
  • Meet performance KPIs and showcase best practices and successes with peers.
  • Ensure hiring practices comply with Federal and State laws.
  • Maintain knowledge of current talent market and industry trends. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 1 or more years of experience in administrative function.
  • Ability to work with computers, technology, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Active Driver’s License.
  • Previous recruitment experience.
  • Previous experience in a role requiring community engagement/networking.
  • Previous experience working with different ATS & CRM software.
  • Previous experience in building/maintaining drip campaigns.
