About the role
The Front Desk Intern supports the Front Office team in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for guests. This position provides hands-on exposure to luxury hospitality operations while assisting with daily front desk activities, guest interactions, administrative tasks, and check-in/check-out procedures. Under the guidance of Front Office professionals, the Intern will develop a strong understanding of guest service standards, hotel systems, and operational processes while contributing to a seamless and personalized guest experience.
What you will do
- Assist the Front Desk team with guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a warm, professional, and courteous welcome.
- Support the check-in and check-out process while learning hotel procedures and standards.
- Respond to guest inquiries in person and over the phone, providing accurate information regarding hotel facilities, services, and events.
- Assist with room assignments, guest preferences, and reservation-related requests under supervision.
- Support daily administrative tasks, including filing, updating guest profiles, and preparing operational reports.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest requests are handled efficiently.
- Learn and utilize hotel systems, including Property Management Systems and guest service platforms.
- Assist in handling guest concerns and special requests, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain guest confidentiality and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Contribute to creating positive first and last impressions for all guests.

- Time Management Skills: Ability to organize tasks efficiently, manage priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player Attitude: Ability to collaborate with colleagues across departments and contribute positively to team objectives.
- Computer Literacy: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn hospitality systems such as Opera and other guest service platforms.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and adapting to changing operational needs.
- Education in Hospitality or Tourism: Currently pursuing a degree, diploma, or vocational studies in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Legal authorization to complete an internship in Spain.
Degree: Currently enrolled in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
Languages: Fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
