Franklin Veterinary Clinic is looking to add an experienced Veterinary Technician or CVT to our highly collaborative, fast-paced small animal practice in Franklin, Massachusetts.

We pride ourselves on a strong, supportive team culture built around our core values: compassion, communication, community, dependability, and dedication. These aren’t just words to us — they guide how we care for our patients, support our clients, and work together every day. We believe in supporting each other just as much as we support our patients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who is confident in their skills, passionate about high-quality patient care, and thrives in a collaborative environment where teamwork and trust are essential. Our ideal candidate values strong communication, enjoys being highly utilized, and wants to be part of a hospital where doctors and support staff genuinely work together throughout the day.

We are a busy four-doctor general practice with a loyal client base and a strong reputation within the community. Many of our clients have been with the practice for years, and we value building long-term relationships rooted in trust, education, and compassionate care.

  • Highly collaborative DVM team with daily rounds and regular case discussions
  • Technicians are utilized at a high level and encouraged to fully use their skills
  • Strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and adaptability
  • Staff work fluidly throughout the hospital rather than being permanently assigned to one doctor
  • Dedicated surgery support assignments on surgery days
  • Team culture built around collaboration, dependability, and supporting one another
  • Structured lunch/catch-up time built into the daily schedule
  • Has strong veterinary technical skills and enjoys staying busy
  • Thrives in a fast-paced GP environment
  • Values collaborative medicine and strong team communication
  • Enjoys client interaction, education, and relationship-building
  • Is dependable, adaptable, and proactive
  • Has an interest in surgery, dentistry, and anesthesia
  • Appreciates high technician utilization and teamwork-focused workflow

The ideal candidate understands the importance of treating the “whole patient” and enjoys working in an environment where collaboration, discussion, and continued learning are part of the daily culture.
