Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Create, send, and file lab certification sheets for customers
Enter lab data into database daily and coordinate lab files
Work with production keeping abreast of daily foam results and customer cert sheet needs
Coordinate, prepare, and ship lab samples to customers
Create spreadsheets of lab results to analyze lab data
Conducts all physical testing on foam in the lab for example: Density, ILD, Tensile, Tear, Elongation, etc.
Schedule sample cuts and cut on Bandsaw for various tests
Send certification sheets to appropriate customers
Run analysis on unknown foams for sales quotations
Conduct and help maintain MSA studies
Maintain Lab integrity in terms of cleanliness and other specific requirements
Prepare and maintain lab equipment
Communications with supervisor when non-conforming product.
Stops production to correct quality problems.
Environmental aspect and impact awareness.
Report any inconsistency or nonconformance on the product and participate in the corrective/preventive actions process
