Great project delivery starts with great coordination. At GBA, our BIM Specialists help make that happen by creating the structure, standards, and support that allow multidisciplinary teams to work together effectively from project kickoff through closeout.

We’re looking for a BIM Specialist who enjoys solving problems, helping project teams work smarter, and making sure the technology behind our designs works the way it should.

In this role, you’ll be more than a Revit resource. You’ll help establish projects for success, maintain BIM standards and execution plans, coordinate models, identify clashes before they become bigger problems, support cloud-based collaboration, and be a trusted resource for designers when they need help.

You’ll work closely with Project Managers, the BIM Manager, architects, engineers, and construction partners while gaining exposure to projects across disciplines and throughout the full project lifecycle.

Your work will help our teams spend less time troubleshooting models and more time designing great projects.

You’ll bring organization and consistency to BIM workflows, help multidisciplinary teams stay coordinated as designs evolve, and provide practical Revit support when project teams need it most.

  Partner with Project Managers to organize and lead internal BIM kickoff meetings, establishing project standards, modeling protocols, and coordination workflows from the beginning.

  Develop and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and help teams stay aligned with company and client standards.

  Set up BIM projects, templates, models, worksets, links, and collaboration environments.

• →

  Coordinate with architecture, engineering, construction, and trade partners to support model-based project delivery.

  Perform routine clash detection and support issue tracking, coordination, and resolution.

• →

  Manage model updates and help integrate design changes so models remain coordinated with project milestones.

  Support teams in producing model-based deliverables, visualizations, and data extractions.

• →

  Help implement and manage cloud-based collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Forma/ACC or similar common data environments.

  Serve as a first-line resource for Revit questions, troubleshooting, and project support.

• →

  Create project-specific Revit content, including parametric families, details, schedules, title blocks, and other resources as needed.

  Coordinate project closeout, file transfers, and delivery of organized project information.

• →

  Partner with the BIM Manager on process improvements, standards, templates, and other initiatives that improve BIM delivery across GBA.

• 3+ years of BIM/Revit experience within an architecture, engineering, or construction environment.

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including project setup, worksets, linked models, sheets, schedules, and content creation.

• Experience creating or modifying parametric families, details, schedules, and title blocks.

• Working knowledge of BIM Execution Plans, modeling standards, and multidisciplinary coordination workflows.

• Hands-on experience with clash detection and issue tracking using Navisworks, ACC Model Coordination, or similar tools.

• Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms such as Forma, ACC, BIM 360, or an equivalent common data environment.

• Ability to produce model-based deliverables, visualizations, and data extractions.

• Strong communication skills and confidence leading BIM kickoff discussions and supporting design professionals.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and support multiple projects and deadlines at the same time.

You enjoy helping others use technology effectively, can explain technical concepts in a way that makes sense, and are comfortable working with everyone from designers and engineers to Project Managers and construction partners.

Additional experience that could help you succeed includes:

• Multidisciplinary coordination involving architects, engineers, and trade partners.

• Familiarity with ISO 19650, LOD/LOI frameworks, naming conventions, and model QA practices.

• Experience with Dynamo, Bluebeam, or similar tools.

• Autodesk Certified Professional – Revit or a comparable certification.

• Experience developing or maintaining company templates and family libraries.

• A degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience.
