Students will work alongside GCI employees to develop a project that is aligned with their interests and the needs of the department they are assigned to. |
| ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
| As a Telecommunications Intern, the student will function as a staff member gaining practical knowledge and experience while supporting the organization’s mission. The student will participate in project-oriented work to include research, analysis, report generation etc. |

Minimum Qualifications
Required: This Internship program is designed for students who have achieved a GPA of 2.8 and offers them the opportunity to learn and be mentored by a GCI manager/supervisor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORKING CONDITIONS:

The company and its subsidiaries operate in a 24/7 environment providing critical services to Alaskans and may need to respond to public health and safety matters or other business emergencies. Due to business needs employees may be contacted outside of the core business hours to respond to an immediate emergency. As such, you will be requested to provide emergency after hours contact numbers, to include your home and cell phone numbers if you have those services.
