Reagent Senior Lab Technician

Genscript is seeking Senior Lab Technicians for our Production team in Piscataway, NJ. 

The estimated hourly pay-rate is $27-$30 per hour, depending on experience. 

• →Perform molecular biology related techniques to support production workflows.
• →Daily work in the laboratory: able to independently undertake work responsibilities, implement the monthly and weekly workflow of the organization, and plan, implement and deliver the work on the post. 
• →Ensure that the guaranteed work complies with the relevant experimental operation requirements of the company and department. 
• →Implement quality and safety requirements of company and department; For laboratory environment and key operating equipment, maintenance can be carried out according to the requirements, to ensure that the working environment and equipment status meet the requirements
• →Feedback: Have their own thinking and summary of past work content and methods, and the summarized experience/methods should be practiced and copied, which can effectively guide others to work or significantly improve production efficiency or reduce production costs.
• →Problem finding and solving find problems in time and be able to solve routine problems independently; For the problems that cannot be solved, seek help in a timely manner.
• →Execute the experimental plan to achieve project objectives.
• →Other work: actively cooperate with and assist in the completion of cross-organizational related positions or projects; Complete the temporary key tasks assigned by the superior.

• Bachelor's degree or associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related fields
• Experience in biological and chemical experiments is preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience in the same position.
• Practical experience in laboratory or production environments is preferred.
• Strong learning ability, able to quickly adapt to new technologies and protocols.
• Able to operate according to SOP and promptly provide feedback on any abnormal issues discovered
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit.
• Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Piscataway, NJ
