Who are we looking for?

The Automation Solutions Developer will be part of the IS Enterprise Applications team and will contribute to the design and development of solutions built on GHD’s Automation platforms (primarily Workato and Microsoft. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of resolution of complex Automation issues to ensure the availability, integrity, performance and maintainability of GHD’s production systems

• Ensure that new recipes and solutions conform to GHD standards and integrate effectively with GHD's existing business systems

• Maintain long-term focus on ensuring high-quality and low-maintenance solutions are produced at GHD

• Pro-actively look for improvements to the environment (processes and procedures) and report these to the Team Leader – IS Development with recommendations for addressing them. Work with peers to plan and implement changes to facilitate these improvements

• Keep abreast of information technology developments / technologies, with a focus on new integration technologies

• Refer all technical matters that are unusual and cannot be successfully addressed within a reasonable time to your manager or the relevant IT staff or software vendor for advice and assistance.

To be considered for this role, we are looking for someone with: 

• With 3+ years of experience in a complex solution development, implementation and support environment

• Experience in working in integration or solution development environment with large and/or global professional services organization

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred but not required)

• Experience developing solutions on Workato for 2+ years

• Ability to design and document integration solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure

• Strong understanding of common integration patterns (e.g., point-to-point, pub/sub, request/reply, message queue).

• Knowledge of API design principles (REST, SOAP), microservices architecture, and event-driven architecture.

• Experience working with Azure based cloud technologies for application and integration solutions. 

• Ability to design, develop, and deploy complex integration workflows and APIs on the iPaaS platform. 

• Knowledge of integration security best practices, including authentication, authorisation, encryption, and data masking.

• Experience with API security standards (e.g. OAuth) and OWASP top ten security risks.

• Good communication skills, both oral and written, an open communicator

Work schedule:  Monday to Friday / 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 

This role will be based in our Makati office.
