We’re seeking a seasoned Dams Engineer at the Lead to Principal level to join our market-leading Northern Australia Dams Group. Our team delivers some of the most complex and high-profile dams and hydropower projects across Australia and internationally — offering you the opportunity to lead, innovate, and make a lasting impact. This role can be based in any of our Northern Australia office locations.

- Deliver expert input across geotechnical, structural, hydraulic, design, and construction management disciplines.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Lead proposal development and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities.
- Support site-based assignments during construction phases as needed.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Minimum Bachelor’s degree qualifications in civil engineering or related discipline.
- →RPEQ registration (or commitment to attain).
- →Be a seasoned professional with an in depth understanding of dams engineering (geotechnical, structural, hydraulic).
- →Proven experience in design and/or construction management.
- →Strong leadership, communication, and client engagement skills.
