The Credit Officer is to support the company’s risk management framework by evaluating the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses, ensuring that credit policies align with company rental, lease and financing policies while supporting growth. The ideal candidate will be key in maintaining healthy relationships with drivers, customers, and business partners, ensuring timely and accurate credit assessments. Roles and Responsibilities Review and assess credit applications for new and existing clients, ensuring they align with the company’s rental, lease and financing policies Conduct in-depth financial analyses of customers, and partner companies to determine creditworthiness and recommend suitable credit limits. Prepare and maintain accurate records of credit assessments, approvals, rejections, and collection efforts. Provide regular updates to senior management on credit performance and risk exposure. Collaborate with Credit & Risk Associate to develop, implement, and update credit policies and guidelines in line with the company’s growth strategy. Serve as a point of contact for credit inquiries from drivers and businesses, offering advice and resolving issues related to credit limits and payment terms. Provide regular updates to the Credit & Risk Associate on operational risks. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or financial services (experience in the gig economy or mobility sectors is a plus). Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of financial statements, credit scoring models, and risk assessment techniques. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
