Head of Logistics and International Operations

We’re looking for a Head of Logistics and International Operations, who will take full ownership of how our logistics / warehousing functions operate and evolve as we grow. This is a key leadership role where you’ll be responsible for making sure our customers receive their orders fast, reliably, and without friction, while keeping operations efficient and scalable. Requirements Owning the full logistics cycle, from package receiving in warehouses to shipment delivery to countries of operation; coordinate end‑to‑end international shipments to ensure on‑time and safe delivery. Oversee daily warehouse operations across all sites to ensure uninterrupted activity, safety and adherence to SOPs; monitor and control daily KPIs and take corrective action as needed; optimize warehouse processes to improve accuracy, reduce cost and shorten cycle times. Open and commission new warehouses and international lanes: site selection, layout design, IT/WMS integration, SOP development, vendor setup and go‑live management. Manage 3PLs, carriers and logistics partners: source, evaluate and onboard new partners and regional warehouses to expand lanes and capacity; validate capabilities and compliance; negotiate contracts, set and enforce SLAs, run performance reviews and drive cost optimization. Improve delivery times, reduce costs, and make operations more efficient overall; lead continuous improvement and lean initiatives to reduce costs, errors and cycle times. Identify bottlenecks and fix them before they become bigger issues; help troubleshoot operational and technical issues (WMS, conveyors/automation, equipment failures, carrier exceptions) and coordinate rapid remediation with internal teams and vendors. Ensure all shipment and customs documentation are accurate and submitted on time; handle carrier exceptions/claims. Lead and develop the logistics team: set clear goals and priorities, set objectives, monitor KPIs, conduct coaching and performance reviews, and build a high‑performing operations team. Work with the product and tech teams to improve internal systems. Keep a close eye on performance metrics and use data to guide decisions; produce regular management reporting and present operational performance and improvement plans to leadership. Act as primary escalation point for major incidents; communicate status, impact and remediation plans to senior management and stakeholders; ensure outstanding customer service and meet SLAs, responding to inquiries and delivering root‑cause resolutions. Benefits Education: Bachelor’s in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, or related; MBA/Master’s preferred. Experience: 5–8+ years in operations/warehousing/logistics or manufacturing with senior roles and multi‑site leadership. Technical: hands‑on with WMS/ERP and integrations; quick to learn new tools; advanced Excel. Leadership: proven team leadership — hiring, coaching, goal setting and performance management. Cross‑functional: strong stakeholder management with product, tech, finance and vendor teams. Commercial: contract negotiation and vendor/3PL management experience. Operations delivery: SOP development, project management, change management and go‑live execution. Financial skills: experience owning budgets, cost forecasting, CAPEX planning and business‑case ROI, spend governance. Languages: English, Russian and Armenian. Soft skills: strong written/verbal communication, negotiation, resilience, flexibility and influence. Can‑do attitude: proactive, resourceful, and willing to roll up sleeves to get things done.
