Sales Assistant - Childrenswear

Description

The Sales Assistant plays a key role in supporting their sales manager by managing order execution, maintaining accurate product and order data, and coordinating communication across internal departments and external partners. This role helps ensure that purchase orders, samples, and production timelines are processed accurately and efficiently while supporting day-to-day sales operations and client needs.

Order Management & Processing

• →Process bulking orders and prepare order recaps for buyers
• →Prepare and maintain buysheets and work with planning, production and merchandising teams to confirm
• →Enter and revise orders including cost, delivery dates, quantities, account details, and PO splits
• →Send purchase orders to Order Entry and follow up to ensure accurate processing
• →Review Orders Entered reports to confirm accuracy and completeness
• →Confirm shortages or overages with Order Entry and overseas teams and communicate updates to buyers
• →Request revised POs or EDIs from buyers when needed
• →Process order reductions or increases based on buyer or vendor requests

Production & Delivery Coordination

• →Work closely with production teams to ensure orders remain on schedule and meet delivery timelines
• →Follow up on production timelines (TNA) and monitor progress for open orders
• →Coordinate with overseas vendors and internal teams to resolve issues affecting order delivery
• →Monitor open order reports and review past cancel orders to determine next steps

4 days a week in the office, Friday work from home
