You design, implement, and evaluate key Learning & Development programs including onboarding, leadership development, technical training, compliance, and leverage innovative technologies and personalized learning to enhance program effectiveness. You operate as an enterprise-wide leader who shapes organizational culture, drives capability building, and influences decision-making at all levels. You bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, business acumen, and technical fluency, enabling you to connect learning with broader organizational goals and long-term talent needs.WHAT YOU'LL DO:
DEVELOP AND EXECUTE LEADERSHIP & ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY:• Formulate and execute a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and business goals to drive growth and workforce readiness.• Partner with senior leadership to assess current and emerging skill gaps and forecast future talent needs.• Establish enterprise-wide KPIs and ROI measures for all learning programs, ensuring measurable impact.• Collaborate with senior leaders, HR, and department heads to embed learning into business processes and culture. • Stay informed on industry trends, laws, and emerging practices; represent the organization at external events and within the professional learning community.
PROGRAM DESIGN & DELIVERY: • Oversee the design, implementation, and continual improvement of learning solutions, including onboarding, leadership development, technical training, compliance programs, and ongoing professional development.• Leverage innovative learning technologies and analytics to deliver personalized, scalable, and data driven learning experiences.• Integrate advanced learning systems, including LMS capabilities, AI-driven platforms, and microlearning, to enhance accessibility and effectiveness. • Curate internal and external learning resources to build customized development pathways.• Ensure all learning programs maintain high standards of quality, relevance, and alignment with strategic objectives. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and organizational policies in all learning and development activities
ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT & HIGH-PERFORMANCE LEARNING CULTURE: • Lead, coach, and develop the Learning and Development team to foster collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.• Direct a broad portfolio of organizational learning initiatives, ensuring they meet evolving workforce and business needs.• Champion a culture of continuous learning, adaptability, and inclusion, ensuring equitable access to development at all levels. • Drive succession planning efforts in partnership with leadership to strengthen the talent pipeline.• Integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into all learning and development efforts.• Build an agile learning ecosystem that anticipates industry trends, organizational shifts, and future capability requirements.• Cultivate a high performing, engaged L&D organization capable of delivering enterprise-wide impact. • Drive enterprise engagement, culture building, and retention strategies that support organizational values and position the company as an employer of choice.• Champion the organization’s mission, vision, and core values through leadership behaviors, development programs, and alignment of L&D strategy with cultural goals.• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, guiding organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and culture shaping strategies.
OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP & GOVERNANCE: • Lead and oversee departmental operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence in all L&D processes.• Monitor functional KPIs and implement data driven improvements to strengthen team performance and program effectiveness.• Identify and mitigate strategic, operational, and compliance risks associated with enterprise learning and development.
MEASURE AND IMPROVE TRAINING IMPACT: • Use data, analytics, and stakeholder feedback to assess training effectiveness, refine programs, and demonstrate measurable business outcomes.• Monitor and report on KPIs and ROI across the learning portfolio to guide strategic decision making.• Oversee the L&D budget and manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring cost effective and high value solutions.
QUALIFICIATIONS AND PREFERENCES:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration or a related field required
Master’s Degree (e.g., Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, HR, MBA, or related discipline) is strongly preferred
10+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Talent Management, or related fields required
5+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing enterprise-wide programs or teams required
Experience leading large scale learning strategies, change initiatives, and organizational capability development is strongly preferred
