We are seeking a compassionate, grounded, and skilled CNA to join our Inpatient Unit team PRN. What you will do as a CNA in our Inpatient Unit:
- Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and assistance with activities of daily living
- Observe and report changes in patients' physical or emotional condition to the RN and care team
- Follow each patient's individualized plan of care under the direction of the RN
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Accurately document care provided in the electronic medical record in a timely manner
- Transport or deliver equipment and supplies as needed
- Participate in team meetings, ongoing education, and quality improvement initiatives
What we are looking for:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Aide program with an active Virginia CNA license
- Minimum of one year of CNA experience preferred (hospice, home health, or long-term care experience is a plus)
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and insurance
- A heart for mission-driven, relational work with patients and families
