Facilities Manager - Full Time
The Facilities Manager oversees day-to-day facilities operations, maintenance activities, and improvement projects across Granger Medical Clinic locations. Working closely with the Senior Manager of Facilities & Projects, this role coordinates Facilities staff, manages the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and ensures safe, functional, and efficient environments while minimizing disruption to patient care.
Schedule: Monday - Friday; Hours vary between 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Supervise daily activities of Facilities staff, schedule work assignments, prioritize urgent requests, and provide hands-on support. Monitor work quality and assist management with staff performance feedback.
Maintenance Operations:
- Direct preventive and corrective maintenance across all building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and structural components). Assess repair needs, conduct hands-on troubleshooting, and manage necessary regulatory inspections.
CMMS & Work Order Administration:
- Serve as the primary administrator for the CMMS (Maintenance Connection). Review, route, prioritize, and track work orders from open status to final quality review and closure.
Project Management:
- Plan and oversee small-to-midsize facility improvements (tenant improvements, flooring, painting, moves, installations, and decade maintenance). Obtain bids, monitor vendor/contractor performance, and coordinate logistics with clinic leadership.
Vendor & Administrative Support:
- Manage day-to-day vendor relations, review service proposals and invoices, and maintain accurate facility records (warranties, compliance documentation, and expense tracking).
Safety, Compliance & Emergency Response:
- Ensure compliance with building safety standards, emergency preparedness, and OSHA guidelines. Respond to facility emergencies and coordinate urgent repairs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or construction. Experience leading staff and managing multi-location portfolios is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) with strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency with a CMMS (such as Maintenance Connection) and experience reviewing project bids, scopes of work, and vendor contracts.
- Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills; ability to balance multiple competing priorities and work independently.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular travel between clinic locations.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Regularly travels between Granger Medical Clinic locations.
- Frequently stands, walks, kneels, reaches, climbs ladders, and accesses rooftops, mechanical rooms, and confined spaces.
- Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to varying indoor/outdoor temperatures, noise, and standard building maintenance/construction environments.
- Required to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call emergency response as needed.

The salary range listed is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, education, and/or skill level.
