Harbinger Motors are looking for an experienced Corporate GL Accountant with a strong accounting background in fixed assets and month-end close. This role will be responsible for accounting and reporting for fixed assets, ensuring accurate and timely month-end close of accounting records and cash reconciliations. This role requires advanced analytical skills, extensive experience in accounting practices, a thorough understanding of GAAP, and the ability to influence financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

→Record recurring and non-standard journal entries to ensure accurate accounting
→Reconcile certain General Ledger account balances, including cash, other assets and payroll-related accounts.
→Responsible for fixed assets and prepaids.
→Reconcile Fixed Assets accounts.
→Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Operations, Engineering and Logistics departments to ensure accurate recording of data.
→Manage month close-end calendar.
→Prepare and maintain monthly fixed assets roll-forward.
→Analyze and explain monthly variances and fluxes.
→Assist with the financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements to ensure accounting procedures and reporting conform to generally accepted accounting principles.
→Assist with various special projects as required.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with an emphasis in Accounting.
5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
CPA/CPA Eligibility preferred, but not required.
Proven experience in fixed assets, month-end close and account balances reconciliation processes.
NetSuite experience preferred.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems.

California Pay Range

$105,000—$120,000 USD
