Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Leadership

→Develop and execute a comprehensive, scalable IT roadmap that aligns with the company's business goals, including manufacturing scale-up, product launches, and geographical expansion.
→Serve as the key technology leader and strategic advisor to the executive team, providing expertise on emerging technologies and potential competitive advantages.
→Manage the annual IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and maximizing ROI on technology investments.
→Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of security, service, and innovation.

Infrastructure & Security

→Manage and maintain the entire IT infrastructure, including cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure), data centers, networks, and end-user hardware/software.
→Establish and enforce a robust cybersecurity framework (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) to protect corporate IP, customer data, and mission-critical manufacturing systems from internal and external threats.
→Develop and manage comprehensive Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans.

Data, Telematics, and Vehicle Support

→Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to support the data pipeline for vehicle telematics, charging network data, and fleet management systems.
→Establish secure and efficient data warehousing/lake solutions to enable business intelligence, analytics, and operational insights across all departments.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Head of IT, IT Director).
Proven experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or high-growth technology company is essential. EV experience is a significant plus.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, compliance, and risk management.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for a non-technical audience.

Requirements

Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) as they relate to IT infrastructure.

California Pay Range

$140,000—$180,000 USD
