We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fraud Manager to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraudulent activities within our iGaming platform.  This role requires a deep understanding of fraud detection technologies, risk management, and regulatory compliance.  This role will report in to the Director of Fraud, and oversee the daily operations of the fraud team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the fraud team, providing guidance and support.

  • Assist in the training and development of fraud team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fraud prevention strategies and policies.

  • Monitor and analyze transaction data to identify suspicious activities and patterns.

  • Conduct thorough investigations into potential fraud cases and take appropriate action.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service, compliance, and IT, to ensure a holistic approach to fraud prevention.

  • Prepare detailed reports on fraud incidents, trends, and effectiveness of prevention measures.

Successful candidates will be self-driven and a self-motivated team player capable of working efficiently in a high-volume real-time environment. The role is best suited for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a passion for sports and gaming.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in fraud management, preferably within the iGaming or online payments industry.

  • Proven management or team leadership experience.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

  • Proficiency in using fraud detection tools and software.

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities,

  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience with machine learning and AI-based fraud detection solutions a plus.

  • Familiarity with SQL and data analytics tools.

  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a face-paced work environment.
