Position Overview

The Regional Director provides overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for Harper’s ESD operations in the Upstate region. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, business development, and team leadership across one or more offices, projects, or geographic markets.

The Regional Director is a leader of leaders, overseeing Project Executives, Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and administrative staff, and direct coordination with the Regional General Superintendent while serving as the primary liaison between local operations and the ESD Director of Operations.

Responsibility Highlights

• Lead and uphold Harper’s Five Pillars of Success: Safety, Client Satisfaction, Quality, Schedule, and a Fair Profit Earned.
• Provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership for assigned office(s) or region.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between regional operations and executive leadership.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent with support from Harper’s corporate services teams.
• Driving business development, client relationship management, and community engagement.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Accounting, HR, Safety, Marketing, Business Development, Construction Technology, and other support services.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing multi‑project construction teams.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Administration or related field a plus.)
• Prior experience as an ESD Project Manager or Senior Project Manager required.
• Experience with Harper General Contractors Environmental Systems Division required.
