Primary Functions:
- Preparing examination room for patients before testing
- Explain the ultrasound procedure to patients
- Perform Echocardiograms to lab protocol and IAC standards
- Compare the patient's most recent exams to previous results when applicable and note changes
- Prepare summarized findings to interpret physician
- Preparing preliminary results in patient's electronic medical record
- Maintain a clean and adequately stocked exam room
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Current RDCS / RCS and BLS certification (maintain certifications)
- 2+ years experience performing Echocardiograms
- Proficiency with electronic medical record navigation and documentation required
- Ability to build rapport with patients and provide excellent patient satisfaction
- Ability to work well as a team within the lab
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Echo experience preferred but not required
- Mon. - Fri. 8:00 am - 4:00 pm; no weekends, calls, or nights
