ComForCare Home Health Care (North San Diego) is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Family Respite Support worker to join our growing team in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities:

Provide temporary relief and respite care to primary family caregivers of individuals with disabilities, illness, or aging-related needs
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior to appropriate supervisors
Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
Follow individualized care plans to ensure consistent, high-quality support
Maintain accurate documentation and communication logs for each client visit

Requirements:

Prior experience in home care, respite care, caregiving, or a related field preferred
Genuine compassion and patience when working with individuals and families in need
Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references
Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
