- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and follow up until issues are resolved.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Willingness to learn and work with requirements across multiple states.
- Previous administrative, compliance, or office support experience.
- Experience with spreadsheets, databases, or document-management systems.
- Experience in childcare, education, healthcare, human resources, or another regulated environment.
- Familiarity with licensing, regulatory documentation, quality assurance, or audit preparation.
- Childcare or multi-state compliance experience is helpful but not required.

About the Role
~1 min readHealthy Kids is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to support documentation, licensing, and compliance activities across our growing, multi-state organization.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Track required medical and health documentation for children across multiple states.
- →Review records for missing, incomplete, or expired documentation.
- →Monitor expiration dates and coordinate follow-up on required updates.
- →Maintain accurate spreadsheets, databases, checklists, and compliance records.
- →Track state-specific childcare licensing and documentation requirements.
- →Monitor regulatory deadlines, renewals, and expiration dates.
- →Assist with keeping internal compliance information current as requirements change.
- →Organize documentation for licensing reviews, inspections, and audits.
- →Track outstanding compliance items and follow up through completion.
- →Prepare routine compliance reports and provide the CEO with updates on outstanding items.
- →Communicate with internal teams to obtain missing information and resolve documentation issues.
- →Identify discrepancies or potential compliance concerns and escalate them to the CEO or appropriate department.
- →Maintain confidentiality when handling children's, family, and employee information.
- →Assist with compliance projects and other related administrative duties as assigned.
