Your Role

As a Sourcing Manager – Cost Optimization & Strategic Supplier Management, you take ownership of driving cost-reduction initiatives and building strong, long-term partnerships with strategic suppliers. You play a key role in improving profitability and competitiveness by combining technical understanding with commercial excellence in a manufacturing-driven environment.

Drive structured cost-out and value engineering initiatives across the supply chain

Develop, manage, and strengthen strategic supplier relationships

Lead negotiations, including should-cost analyses and total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluations

Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to align sourcing strategies with technical and business requirements

Identify opportunities for cost optimization while ensuring quality, performance, and supply reliability

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar)

Around 8–10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within mechanical engineering or a technical environment

Strong track record in cost optimization, negotiations, and supplier management

Excellent analytical, technical, and commercial skills

German language skills are a strong advantage
