Part-Time PMHNP - Virginia-Autonomous Practice
Quick Summary
🧠 Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) — Part-Time, Autonomous Practice Remote · Virginia License Required · Independent Practice Make an Impact. Practice Autonomously.
Backpack Healthcare is looking for a Virginia-licensed PMHNP who values clinical autonomy, meaningful work, and genuine collaboration.
We provide accessible mental health care for children, teens, and young adults through telehealth. As a clinician-led, minority-owned organization, we're building a different kind of behavioral health experience — one where clinicians have the autonomy to practice at the top of their license while still having a strong team behind them.

Since 2020, we've served 12,000+ kids and families through accessible behavioral healthcare. 78% of families report that their child is doing better after three months.
We built Backpack because the traditional mental healthcare model wasn't working — for kids, families, or the clinicians trying to help them.
Here, clinicians have the opportunity to practice independently, collaborate meaningfully, and make a measurable difference in the lives of young people.
If you're a Virginia PMHNP looking for clinical autonomy, flexible telehealth practice, competitive per-session compensation, and additional monthly earning potential, we'd love to meet you.
Backpack Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity in age, background, identity, and experience — and we mean it.
