Are you an experienced educator who is ready to take the next step into school leadership?

Heritage International School is looking for a motivated, Christ-centered teacher who has strong organizational skills, enjoys working with students and colleagues, and is eager to grow into a management role. This middle leadership position provides an excellent opportunity to develop leadership experience while continuing to have a meaningful impact on teaching and learning.

Working alongside the Secondary Principal, the Vice Principal plays a key role in supporting student life, daily operations, discipline, and the overall culture of the Secondary School.

What You'll Do

Support Student Growth

• Oversee day-to-day student discipline and behaviour.
• Help create a positive, respectful, and Christ-centered school culture.
• Work with teachers, students, and families to address behavioural concerns.
• Support student well-being alongside Chaplaincy and Student Support Services.

Lead Student Life

• Coordinate the Secondary House System and student leadership programs.
• Organize House events, competitions, and activities.
• Help develop leadership opportunities for students.
• Support assemblies, service projects, clubs, and special events that build community.

Keep Operations Running Smoothly

• Assist with schedules, calendars, duty rosters, and supervision plans.
• Coordinate operational logistics for school events and activities.
• Help manage substitute teacher coverage and daily organization.
• Support assessment logistics and compliance requirements.

Support Staff and Families

• Be a first point of contact for routine parent concerns.
• Assist with onboarding and supporting teachers.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent implementation of school policies.
• Conduct informal classroom walkthroughs and provide feedback as directed by the Secondary Principal.

Previous administrative experience is an asset but is not required. We are looking for someone with leadership potential who is eager to grow, receive mentoring, and develop the skills needed to become an effective school leader.
