Responsibilities

Edit and produce long-form and short-form video content across formats ,product explainers, customer stories, thought leadership pieces, and social clips ,from brief to final delivery.

Translate scripts and written briefs into visually engaging video stories ,maintaining message fidelity while making confident creative decisions on pacing, transitions, motion graphics, and audio design.

Build and animate motion graphics in Adobe After Effects, managing the full post-production pipeline across Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.

Handle audio mixing end-to-end, to deliver a polished final mix.

Collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams to ensure all video output aligns with Hevo’s brand guidelines, visual identity, and campaign objectives.

Proactively evaluate and implement new tools across AI video, audio enhancement, b-roll generation, and storyboard design to keep Hevo’s video production at the cutting edge.

Plan and execute video shoots end-to-end ,operating Sony mirrorless cameras, setting up key and fill lighting rigs, configuring mic interfaces, and managing collar and boom mic setups to capture broadcast-quality footage.

Self-review all deliverables before submission ,catching sync issues, render artifacts, and brief deviations independently, without waiting to be flagged.
Requirements

Minimum of 1+ years of experience in Video Editing and Production.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (strongly preferred) or DaVinci Resolve ,must have used these tools on real projects, not just coursework.

Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects ,ability to build, keyframe, and animate motion graphic timelines independently.

Solid understanding of video editing fundamentals: cuts and transitions, pacing and sequencing, color correction, animation types, and visual rhythm and knowledge of audio mixing.

Visual storytelling ability: Can interpret a written brief and make confident creative decisions about how to translate copy into a compelling video narrative without distorting the message.

Strong attention to detail and a high personal quality bar ,proactively flags errors in scripts and briefs, and takes full ownership of output quality without needing to be prompted.

Curiosity about and comfort with evolving tools ,AI video, generative b-roll, open-source audio software, and automation across the production workflow.

Hands-on experience operating Sony mirrorless cameras, configuring key and fill lighting setups, and managing microphones and interfaces, comfortable directing and running a shoot independently.

Prior experience in B2B, SaaS, or tech video content is a plus; familiarity with data engineering or analytics concepts is a strong bonus.
