We're looking for an energetic, organized, and people-focused Orientation & Onboarding Coordinator to help shape one of the most important moments in an employee's journey: their first day.

As the Orientation Coordinator, you'll be at the center of welcoming hundreds of new colleagues into the Hartford HealthCare family. You will create meaningful first impressions, coordinate engaging orientation experiences, collaborate with leaders across the organization, and help ensure every new hire feels connected, prepared, and excited from day one.

Create Outstanding New Colleague Experience

• Coordinate and execute Hartford HealthCare's New Colleague Orientation program.

• Ensure every orientation event is organized, engaging, and welcoming.

• Serve as a key resource for new colleagues throughout the onboarding journey.

Coordinate the Logistics Behind the Experience

• Orientation planning, scheduling, registration, venue organization, food counts, and event setup.

• Coordinate staffing for presenters, welcome teams, information booths, and support roles.

• Monitor onboarding readiness and verify pre-employment requirements are complete before start dates.

Be the Face of Welcome

• Support and co-facilitate orientation sessions.

• Present information to groups and confidently engage with new colleagues.

• Answer questions, solve problems, and create a positive first impression of Hartford HealthCare.

Drive Continuous Improvement

• Track key performance metrics and onboarding outcomes.

• Identify opportunities to enhance the new colleague experience.

• Participate in special projects and innovative initiatives that elevate onboarding across the system.

Collaborate Across the Organization

• Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, operational leaders, senior leadership, and system-wide stakeholders.

• Build strong partnerships that support a seamless onboarding experience for every new hire.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

• Three to five years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, employee onboarding, training, event coordination, or related fields.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

•  Experience supporting onboarding, corporate training, employee engagement, or large-scale events.

• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR technology platforms.

• Experience presenting or facilitating groups.
