THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to our Sales Lead, the Sales Agent at Highstreet is responsible for full-cycle sales support focused on generating and nurturing qualified leads, delivering an exceptional buyer experience, and supporting conversion through to firm sale at our new Edgeview community.
Please note this role’s standard hours are Wednesday-Sunday.
- Wed-Thurs: 11:00am-7:00pm
- Fri-Sun: 9:00am-5:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming leads and presentation centre traffic from initial inquiry through to purchase readiness
- Deliver a professional, high-quality presentation centre experience for all prospective buyers
- Educate buyers on product offerings, pricing, community features, and the purchase process
- Guide and support buyers through the sales process toward firm sale
- Maintain consistent follow-up practices to support conversion and sales targets
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives including paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, and website performance
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective buyers throughout their purchasing journey
- Maintain accurate CRM records, reporting, and buyer communications
- Provide ongoing market feedback related to buyer sentiment, pricing, and competitor activity in the Kamloops market
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to refine messaging, campaigns, and sales strategy
- Maintain a polished and professional presentation centre environment
- Operate within all applicable regulatory requirements for unlicensed sales support roles
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Highstreet is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven professional who thrives in a customer-facing sales environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional buyer experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and confident guiding purchasers through an important decision-making process.
You are proactive, responsive, and disciplined in your follow-up, while remaining adaptable in a fast-paced sales environment. You work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, communicate professionally, and contribute positively to both customer experience and overall sales performance. In addition to identifying with Highstreet’s values, the ideal candidate will also bring:
- Experience in sales, customer service, or real estate project marketing preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to guide buyers through the sales process and support closing outcomes
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-up discipline
- Confidence working independently in a presentation centre environment
- Ability to manage multiple buyers, inquiries, and priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable working weekends and peak sales hours
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate reporting and records
- Understanding of the real estate sales process in BC considered an asset
Compensation Package:
Annual Base Salary: $65,000
Commission Structure:
- 25% sold (22 suites) → $9,000
- 50% sold (22 suites) → $12,000
- 75% sold (22 suites) → $15,000
- 100% (22 suites) → $25,000
Total estimated commission for full sellout: $62,000
Additional Annual Bonus: Highstreet pays an annual bonus based on company performance. A typical bonus for this position is approximately 14% of annual salary. Determined annually, the bonus could be more or less, depending on performance results.
