Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach seeks a dynamic, strategic, and engagement-driven Campus Director at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). Reporting to the Executive Director, the Campus Director will spearhead Hillel’s NSU portfolio, focusing intensely on building and executing innovative engagement strategies for a unique student community composed of 25% undergraduate and 75% graduate and professional students.
This senior professional will supervise one full-time staff member, collaborate with an Israel Fellow and an IACT Coordinator, navigate university partnerships, and drive an NSU parent engagement and fundraising initiative to support campus growth. The ideal candidate excels at student outreach, data-driven engagement strategy, and building deep relationships across diverse student demographics.
Responsibilities

- →Design and execute a comprehensive engagement plan tailored to NSU's unique student profile, including part-time, commuter, undergraduate, and graduate students.
- →Strengthen Hillel’s visibility and impact through meaningful Jewish learning, leadership opportunities, and campus partnerships.
- →Ensure a diverse portfolio of programs that reflect the needs and interests of undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.
- →Collaborate with the Israel Fellow to seamlessly integrate Israel education, travel, and immersive experiences into the core campus engagement framework.
Strategic Leadership & Supervision
- →Lead Hillel’s NSU student-centric strategy, ensuring campus growth plans align directly with organizational mission and engagement goals.
- →Supervise, coach, and mentor one full-time engagement professional, maximizing their relationship-building capacity and tracking engagement outcomes.
- →Partner with the Executive Director to shape long-term objectives for NSU, prioritizing infrastructure, staffing, and high-impact student engagement.
Operations, Data & Development
- →Oversee budgets, logistics, and operations for Hillel at NSU.
- →Use data and CRM tools to rigorously measure student engagement outcomes, track metrics, and guide strategic decision-making.
- →Partner with the Executive Director to implement an NSU parent engagement and fundraising strategy, including securing corporate sponsors to underwrite graduate student programming.
- →Serve as Hillel’s primary representative to NSU’s administration and Student Affairs to support student success and facilitate campus partnerships.
- →Work occasional evenings, weekends, and Jewish holidays as needed to support student-facing activities and campus lifecycle.
- An engagement strategist who can translate outreach data into high-impact relationship-building and programming on campus.
- A thoughtful leader with a strong foundation in Jewish life, learning, and Israel, and the ability to thoughtfully integrate Jewish context into programs for diverse backgrounds.
- A strategic thinker who can translate vision into practical implementation.
- Skilled in relationship management, partnership-building, and stakeholder engagement.
- Confident in representing Hillel to university administrators, donors, parents, alumni, and community partners.
- Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and motivated to grow a program within a dynamic organization.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Jewish education, organizational leadership, or related fields strongly preferred.
- 6-8 years of experience in higher education, Jewish communal work, or nonprofit management.
- Prior experience with Hillel is a plus.
- Experience in staff supervision and team development.
- Knowledge and passion for Jewish life, learning, and Israel, and the ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds.
- Competitive salary range of $70,000–$85,000, commensurate with experience.

The main offices of Broward and Palm Beach Hillel are on the FAU campus, with program space at NSU and Lynn.
