Warehouse Technician 6am 2pm M to F

Warehouse Technician Location: Clintonville, WIDepartment: Warehouse / MaterialsReports To: Department ManagerSchedule: Day Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday Position Summary Under the direction of the department manager, the Warehouse Technician is responsible for supporting warehouse operations and maintaining warehouse equipment and infrastructure. This role helps ensure the warehouse remains safe, clean, and organized while supporting material handling and equipment upkeep. Key Responsibilities Leadership Communicate effectively with team members across the organization Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with coworkers and employees Demonstrate strong organization and time-management skills Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with others Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness Safety Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment for all associates Identify safety concerns and assist with implementing solutions Participate in monthly safety meetings and safety initiatives Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures Technical / Operational Duties Understand warehouse processes and systems within the area of responsibility Operate powered industrial vehicles including forklift, reach truck, and roll clamp Transport materials throughout the facility while maintaining product quality Complete daily safety inspection forms for PIV equipment Warehouse Maintenance & Support Maintain warehouse racking including rack installation, anchoring, pallet supports, and location labels Maintain and replace warehouse floor striping as needed Perform minor forklift maintenance Water batteries for powered industrial vehicles on a weekly basis Operate floor scrubbers to maintain facility cleanliness Repair crushed cores in rolls as needed Clean dock door screens when necessary Assist with removing obsolete product from the warehouse Support other departments or work areas when needed General Responsibilities Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Follow Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for assigned tasks Maintain a clean and organized work environment following 6S standards Report unsafe conditions or hazards to management Perform additional duties as assigned Physical Requirements Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, twist, and reach Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently Ability to work in a warehouse environment and operate powered equipment Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED required Experience Previous warehouse or utility experience required Minimum of one year forklift experience preferred CDL license or experience is a plus Skills & Competencies Strong organization and time-management skills Effective communication and active listening skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving ability Experience using computers and RF scanners Certifications (Preferred) Forklift certification Roll clamp certification Reach truck certification Scissor lift certification How to Apply Interested internal candidates should apply through the Dayforce internal career portal.
