The Large Format Printing GBU is responsible for the business strategy, product portfolio and research and development for all HP Large Format Printing products at WW level, including HP DesignJet, HP PageWide XL, HP Latex and HP Stitch printers. HP leads this very dynamic market by bringing continuous innovation to our customers.
Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of building a yearly cost optimization roadmap, analyzing potential returns and establishing clear tracking and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress and results.
* Develop a strong understanding of end-to-end product cost structures, and confidently analyze and compare all cost components, from materials and assembly to distribution and warranty.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and align on cost models for future developments, setting data-driven targets based on customer value and expected returns.
* Partner closely with the Cost Lead to deep dive into cost structures, identify inefficiencies, and uncover impactful cost optimization opportunities, while managing and structuring datasets from multiple sources to ensure data quality, consistency, and usability for analysis.
* Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support cost optimization initiatives and inform decision-making.
Requirements:
* Currently studying Business Administration, Economics, Organizational Engineering, or a related field.
* Basic knowledge of data management and data analysis techniques, with experience or familiarity using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, or similar for data handling and analysis.
* Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach technical challenges from different perspectives.
* Demonstrated curiosity and a genuine interest in tackling complex and diverse technical challenges.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize key information and clearly convey insights and conclusions.
* Collaborative mindset, with the ability to give and receive open and constructive feedback in a positive and professional manner.
* Results-oriented, with a proactive “can-do” attitude, attention to detail, and strong discipline in tracking activities and overcoming roadblocks.
