NPI Alliance Manager
Description -
About the Role
As an NPI Alliance Manager within the Home Printing Team, you will be the bridge between HP's product roadmap and the outside world—identifying and executing strategic partnerships that expand our product utility and market reach. By collaborating with external brands and technology leaders, you will architect "Better Together" solutions—from custom-labeling ecosystems to integrated software experiences—that transform HP printers into a platform for co-innovation and new revenue streams. Your mission is to ensure every NPI launch is amplified by partnerships that deliver measurable consumer value and reinforce HP's position as the ecosystem of choice.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Roadmap & Strategic Scouting: Own a quarterly "look-ahead" of external brands and technology companies aligned with HP's NPI launches, proactively identifying co-innovation opportunities that unlock new consumer segments and revenue channels.
Joint Value Proposition (JVP) Development: Craft clear, "story-first" partnership narratives that articulate why a collaboration benefits the consumer and both brands—translating technical integration points into compelling go-to-market positioning.
Pilot & Proof of Concept (PoC) Execution: Lead the end-to-end management of small-scale partnership launches, validating technology integration and consumer demand before committing to a full rollout.
Cross-Functional Alliance Coordination: Navigate a highly matrixed organization to align product, engineering, marketing, and legal stakeholders around partnership milestones, ensuring seamless execution from concept through commercialization.
Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as a high-visibility representative of HP's innovation DNA with external partners, reinforcing excellence and mutual value at every stage of the alliance lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: College degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Industry Expertise: 3–5 years of experience in partnership development, alliance management, or business development within a dynamic technology industry.
Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to identify and structure partnerships that create mutual value, with a strong grasp of go-to-market strategy and product lifecycle fundamentals.
Communication & Leadership: Exceptional communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills and the ability to lead through influence across diverse professional styles, external partners, and cross-functional teams.
The pay range for this role is $83,000 to $127,800 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
