Responsibilities

→Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting (as applicable).
→Lead and ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.
→Prepare and review financial statements, schedules, and management reports.
→Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
→Implement and maintain strong internal controls and support internal and external audits.
→Manage client-related accounting requirements and service delivery commitments, where applicable.
→Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
→Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members; manage workloads and performance.
→Coordinate with Finance, Operations, HR, and other stakeholders to support business needs.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a BPO, shared services, or fast-paced service environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Experience managing high-volume transactions and tight reporting deadlines.
Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP platforms.
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
