Role Overview
The Finance Associate Manager – Liquidity Planning is responsible for overseeing the organization's short-term cash flow and liquidity requirements to ensure timely funding of operational and financial obligations. The role focuses on optimizing cash utilization, maintaining adequate liquidity levels, and supporting treasury operations through accurate forecasting, fund management, and financial analysis. This position also plays a key role in strengthening cash management processes and ensuring compliance with treasury controls and banking requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, or any related business course
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or Treasury functions, with strong exposure to cash management and liquidity planning
- Proven background in cash flow forecasting, short-term liquidity planning, and treasury operations
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or with strong accounting and financial analysis expertise
- Certification as a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Cash Manager (CCM) is an advantage
- Strong understanding of banking policies, treasury regulations, and fund management procedures
- Experience in monitoring cash positions, fund transfers, and investment balances across multiple accounts
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial management or treasury systems
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders and banking partners
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and monitoring of short-term liquidity plans to ensure sufficient funding for operational and financial requirements
- Manage daily cash positioning activities and oversee timely movement of funds across accounts while ensuring accuracy and compliance with treasury procedures
- Ensure all approved funding requirements are adequately supported and released within agreed timelines
- Optimize cash utilization by maintaining efficient bank balances, identifying appropriate liquidity buffers, and implementing effective fund sweeping strategies
- Prepare and analyze regular liquidity and cash flow reports, providing insights and recommendations to support treasury decision-making
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of cash and investment records, ensuring proper reconciliation and documentation of transactions
- Coordinate with internal finance teams to ensure timely submission of high-quality cash reports and supporting schedules
- Monitor banking activities and ensure adherence to bank policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
- Support treasury-related projects, process improvements, and initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and cash management practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve forecasting accuracy, strengthen liquidity controls, and support overall financial planning activities
