Intern – Network Access in Multidrop Networks

• Review State-of-the-art network access protocols for multidrop networks (e.g. Physical Layer Collision Avoidance)

• Study traffic scheduling mechanisms for deterministic networking

• Implement a novel scheduling and network access mechanism in OMNeT++

• Design and conduct simulation experiments to evaluate performance

• Collaborate effectively with a dedicated research team

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields

• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, particularly MAC and Network layers

• Experience with network simulation tools (e.g., OMNeT++) is a plus

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
