Event Sales and Planning Manager

The Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious, relationship-focused Event Manager to develop, generate, and close catering and corporate event business. This is a highly visible role with an individual sales quota and the opportunity to build valuable client relationships, grow your sales expertise, and collaborate with teams across a renowned luxury resort.

You will manage the client journey from initial inquiry through event completion while creating thoughtful solutions that exceed expectations.

What You’ll Do

·        Develop and close catering and corporate event business.

·        Achieve or exceed your individual sales quota.

·        Build relationships with clients, meeting planners, vendors, and industry partners.

·        Conduct site inspections and confidently present resort venues and services.

·        Manage contracts, proposals, forecasts, event details, and billing coordination.

·        Partner with Banquets, Culinary, Reservations, Housekeeping, and AV teams.

·        Attend pre-convention meetings and ensure events are prepared to client specifications.

·        Help increase revenue through rooms, food & beverage, and meeting space.

·        Resolve challenges quickly and create solutions that strengthen the client experience.

·        Build a strong foundation in luxury hospitality, sales, and event operations.
