IIQAF Group is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and patient-focused Healthcare Assistant to join our hospital team in Dubai. The successful candidate will support nurses, physicians, and allied healthcare professionals by providing high-quality patient care, assisting with daily clinical activities, monitoring patient conditions, maintaining medical records, and ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist nurses and physicians in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
- →Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene.
- →Measure, record, and report vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, oxygen saturation, height, and weight.
- →Assist with patient admissions, transfers, discharge procedures, and transportation within the hospital.
- →Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms, medical equipment, and care areas.
- →Collect and transport specimens according to hospital procedures.
- →Provide emotional support and excellent customer service to patients and their families.
- →Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- →Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- →Participate in continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
~1 min read- Diploma or certification in Healthcare Assistance, Nursing Assistance, Patient Care, or a related healthcare discipline.
- Valid healthcare certification or eligibility for UAE healthcare licensing is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Ward Assistant, Clinical Assistant, Hospital Assistant, Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, or Caregiver is highly preferred.
- Experience in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, specialty healthcare facilities, or long-term care settings is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of patient care techniques, infection control, medical terminology, and healthcare procedures.
- Compassionate attitude with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
