Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role As a Functional Safety Expert - Cyber Security Automotive Microcontroller, you'll own the safety and security vision for our microcontroller products, defining critical requirements and robust architecture. You'll drive cross-Functional Safety Expert Cyber Security Automotive Microcontrollerfunctional collaboration to execute rigorous analysis and verification, ensuring full compliance with global standards while delivering the expert reviews and documentation needed to bring secure, market-ready solutions to life. * Define ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 requirements for our 32-bit microcontrollers and develop safety concepts and architectures * Take responsibility for relevant safety & security analysis engineering methods (e.g. FMEDA, DFA, FTA, Vulnerability Analysis) during product development * Conduct technical confirmation measures to verify the product meets its Safety and Cyber Security requirements through analysis and test * Provide the review of relevant ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 work products * Support the documentation of relevant customer information and recommendations (e.g., Safety Manual) * Collaborate with project managers, development team and customers on Functional Safety and Cyber Security * Assure compliance of the used methodologies to Safety (ISO 26262) and Security (ISO 21434) and also Industry standard (IEC 61508) Payment Scale: ERA EG 12 Posting Date: 11.05.2026 Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed * A technical degree in electrical engineering, microelectronics, physics, functional safety, cyber security, or related field * 5+ years of experience in the automotive semiconductor industry, with a strong understanding of microcontroller architecture or hands-on development * Detailed knowledge about automotive standards and proven experience with ISO 26262, ISO 21434, IEC 61508 * Proficiency in safety & security analysis methods (e.g., FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, DFA, TARA) and functional safety architectures (e.g., fail-safe, fail-operational, high availability) * Proven experience in audits, certifications, standards compliance, and process management * Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with external customers * Good communication and presentation skills in English; German is a strong plus Contact: Eduardo Gomes , LinkedIn #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
