Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Infineon Romania, you will be responsible for the following as Manager Quality & Business Excellence: * Ensure Romanian operations comply with Infineon’s Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant standards, including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 * Lead the local implementation of updates to the QMS and applicable quality standards * Promote the effective use of quality management core tools such as FMEA, 8D, 5-Why and risk management, while facilitating problem-solving, lessons learned and continuous improvement across R&D projects * Provide training, support and coaching to project managers and project contributors on core quality tools, including FMEA, 8D, 5-Why and risk management * Lead external certification audits and internal audit activities * Manage the team of lab technicians and ensure that R&D labs operate in compliance with relevant standards * Develop a strong understanding of Infineon’s development processes, handbooks, and guidelines and channel local learnings back into the company-wide process framework * Develop a strong understanding of Infineon’s project reporting and risk management tools and support project managers with related tooling and reporting * Prepare and maintain country-level KPI reports * Lead country-specific business excellence tasks and projects Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed * Relevant academic background in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field * Solid understanding of development process frameworks in a high-tech environment * At least 10 years of professional experience in an R&D environment; initial people-management experience would be considered an advantage * Fluency in English, both written and spoken * Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills * Self-driven and proactive working style Please send us your CV in English Contact: Carlos Ribeiro, LinkedIn #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
