Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role * Leading and developing the Category Management team (Production Materials and Equipment) * Developing and implementing global and/or regional sourcing strategies for defined categories, driving target setting and achievement in a fast-changing environment * Identifying, evaluating, and realizing Best-Cost Country Sourcing potential with the Cat. Mgt. team * Building, developing, and managing a high-performance, internationally oriented supplier network * Negotiating framework agreements, pricing agreements, and commercial terms with key suppliers * Analyzing cost structures, supply chains, market trends, and risk factors to derive appropriate measures * Ensuring security of supply, quality, cost optimization, and sustainability targets * Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance departments * Manage internal (up to Top management) and external (up to CEO Level and suppliers) stakeholders * Regularly report KPIs and risks to Procurement and stakeholder functions Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed * A degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with commercial experience * min 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in strategic procurement, category management, or global sourcing * Excellent procurement strategy and negotiation skills in addition to outstanding capabilities of relationship and stakeholder management * Demonstrated leadership experience or experience in the functional guidance of teams * Excellent knowledge of supplier management, contract negotiations, and cost analysis * In-depth experience with Best Cost Country Sourcing, international procurement, or production relocation * Knowing China and relevant industry market trends (ideally in semiconductors) * Ability to quickly adopt to changing market environments and steer priorities proactively * Willingness to travel overseas, at least 3-4 times per year * Excellent English skills – German skills are a plus Personal Strengths * Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset * Strong execution capabilities and clear prioritization skills * Passionate for leadership, esp. successfully motivating and leading teams through change processes * Excellent presentation skills, able to communicate and influence senior management, and drive decision-making through analytical skills, clear structure & messaging * Exceptional negotiation competence * High level of resilience and conflict resolution skills * Ability to manage stakeholders across different functions and regions * Drive to initiate and shape change Contact: sunny.wang@infineon.cn #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
