Senior Manager PCM, Sealring & Testchip Development

Lead a functional engineering team in Penang focusing on test chip and electric test structure development and layout design with strong RnD focus towards Infineon’s global technology development teams Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role * Lead a functional engineering team in Penang focusing on test chip and electric test structure development and layout design with strong RnD focus towards Infineon’s global technology development teams * Technical advisor/ coach/ facilitator to the team regarding analog mixed signal layout in a developing RnD environment. * Effectively use your leadership to manage tasks based on complexity levels and experience of task owners. * Establish conducive environment for people development and growth. * Develop competency in the team to cater present and future requirements as aligned with Infineon’s RnD roadmap * Interact as an interface with diverse stakeholders, and build strong relationships * Provide state of the art layout design services (performance, cost, quality) to the respective RnD projects and other related customer. * Establish clear and transparent KPIs. * Employ agile methods for best efficiency. * Establish a learning quality culture that is able to take informed risks vs delivery timeline and support overall quality goals. * Ability to condense complex technical topics and drive local resolution where possible. * Ability to communicate results to technical community and higher Management. Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed * Electrical engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Microsystems or similar. * 10+ years experience in the semiconductor industry. * Fluent English, German as a plus. * 3+ years people management experience as team/ department leader. * Broad understanding of processes in R&D, manufacturing and qualification process. * Good technical background for analog mixed signal layout in a constantly changing RnD environment. * Sound knowledge of crisis management and problem solving methods for supporting business with premium analytical service in case of urgent business needs. * Understanding of customer expectations also in critical situations and ability to judge requested measures based on industry/ competition comparison. * Experience with agile methods and agile mindset * Proven methodological skills to drive internal change, establish an agile mindset within the team, and effectively instruct team members; as well as a self-motivated attitude with the ability to solve complex problems proactively in a fast-changing product environment * Ability to occasionally travel #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
