As a Staff Specialist Forward Deployed Engineering AI / ML (f/m/div) in our Quality & Excellence team uncover the root causes behind every single error, drive transformational improvements, and implement forward-thinking solutions to ensure our products exceed the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Are you in? Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Build and iterate tools for AI-Agent (copilots, workflows) and conduct user pilots Overlook the end-to-end cycle for AI/ML products from ideation to deployment Lead the technical development of AI/ML tailor-made solutions Collaborate with the engineering team to drive automation in semiconductor development and reliability Discover and prioritize use cases with business stakeholders, mapping current vs. target processes Define success metrics and hypotheses , setting clear acceptance criteria and guardrails Measure impact, report outcomes , continuously harden and scale successful solutions , and document reusable patterns for a shared starter kit Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed A degree in Computer Science or related fields, PhD is a plus About 4 years of relevant experience in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Experience in Semiconductor Technologies or related industries is an advantage Demonstrates strong technical skills in Python (including NumPy and PyTorch) and Git, with applied AI knowledge covering LLMs , prompt and tool design, agent orchestration, and evaluation methods Skilled in process and workflow design for automation and AI , supported by data literacy to define KPIs , design experiments , and interpret results Effective communicator and collaborator , proficient in stakeholder management , change management , project planning , and execution , with experience in semiconductor technologies or related fields Brings an outcome-oriented, pragmatic, and curious mindset ; comfortable with ambiguity, focused on user needs, demonstrates high integrity, and simplifies complexity Fluent English language skills , German is a plus #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
