Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Intern to support our control panel production and inventory operations. This role is ideal for individuals interested in manufacturing, electrical assembly, and industrial automation.
You will work directly with production staff, engineers, and technicians to assist in building control panels, managing materials, and maintaining efficient manufacturing workflows.
What You’ll Do
Control Panel Assembly (Manufacturing)
Assist in assembly and wiring of industrial control panels following schematics and production drawings
Install and secure components including terminal blocks, relays, PLCs, circuit breakers, and power supplies
Perform wire routing, labeling, and crimping using standard tools
Support quality checks, inspections, and basic electrical testing
Help prepare panels for factory testing and shipment
Inventory & Materials Support
Maintain and organize inventory of electrical and manufacturing components
Assist with receiving, labeling, and stocking materials
Pick and stage parts for manufacturing work orders
Support Bill of Materials (BOM) verification for builds
Track usage and help ensure accurate inventory levels
Manufacturing Operations Support
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production floor and stockroom
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives (efficiency, organization, waste reduction)
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/certification in:Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related field
Interest in manufacturing, production, and hands-on assembly work
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions and diagrams
Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturing environment
