  • You'll partner with Sub-Industry and Regional leaders to identify and pursue new client and project opportunities.
  • You'll maintain and update the CRM system in Deltek to keep pipeline data current.
  • You'll build and manage a pipeline of upcoming opportunities informed by client meetings and industry intel.
  • You'll represent the company at industry events and conferences such as CMAA, CASH, CCFC, SSDA, ACEC, and others.
  • You'll attend industry meetings, lunches, dinners, and conferences — and send out summaries after each.
  • You'll coordinate networking events and industry meetings across Sub-Industry Leads and Regional Managers.
  • You'll work with the Sub-Industry Leader to invite key clients to Accenture-sponsored events.
  • You'll collaborate with the Marketing team on pursuits, conferences, exhibitions, and promotional materials.
  • You'll coordinate lobbyist and outside consultant efforts with Regional Managers.
  • You'll conduct market research to stay ahead of trends and opportunities in the Southern California public-sector market.
  • You'll meet with prospective clients and schedule introductions with Accenture subject matter experts to pre-position the team for future contracts.
  • You'll research board reports and relevant documentation to prepare leaders and senior PMs for client meetings and strategy sessions.
  • You'll develop pursuit strategies and research specific opportunities in collaboration with the Sub-Industry Leader.
  • You'll prepare Pursuit Capture Plans outlining key dates, contacts, win themes, and differentiators.
  • You'll create client presentations and leave-behind materials.
  • You'll set up and attend introductory meetings with clients and teaming partners for potential opportunities.
  • You'll coordinate and attend kickoff and ongoing pursuit meetings with teaming partners once a pursuit is approved.
  • You'll help develop staffing org charts early in the pursuit phase and participate in green team discussions.
  • You'll track pursuit action items and hold team members accountable to deadlines.
  • You'll send out MOUs and sub agreements.
  • You'll support interview preparation and rehearsal for major pursuits.
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
  •  Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years’ experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry
  • 5 years’ program Management or Construction Management industry experience
  • 5 years’ experience supporting business development, capture management, marketing, and strategic pursuits
  • Established network of public agency clients, industry partners, and teaming relationships within the AEC/PMCM industry

  • Strong understanding of public-sector procurement and pursuit processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent pursuits in a deadline-driven environment
  • Professional, proactive, and service-oriented mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-management capabilities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with executive leadership and technical teams
  • Experience with Deltek CRM preferred
