With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, management, public administration, or business administration;
or equivalent experience (30 semester hours = 1 year) - Three (3) to Five (5)+ years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, auditing, or grant administration
- At least two (2) years must include auditing federal grant programs
- FEMA grant program experience is required
- Strong knowledge of grant management processes and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a consulting environment
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Ability to motivate staff, communicate clearly, assess development needs, and coordinate training
- Able to prioritize and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced, time-critical environment
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal regulations, OMB guidance, and grant program compliance
