In this role, your mission is simple but demanding: to take ownership of a meaningful part of Insify’s journey and deliver results that move the company forward.

As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in building new customer-facing products and scaling our core platform powering insurance across the EU, working closely with teammates across the company to turn ideas into execution and execution into measurable outcomes.

Product Development: Build new customer-facing products, extend existing ones, and iterate on making the customer experience even better.

Platform Scaling: Build up and scale our core platform powering insurance products across the EU.

Technical Leadership: Lead by example, promote best practices in software development, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Own outcomes within your scope — from problem definition to delivery.

Operate in ambiguity and make decisions without perfect information.

Collaborate closely with colleagues across functions.

Improve how we work by spotting inefficiencies and proposing better ways.

Balance speed and quality in a fast-moving environment.

Have technical grit: Proven experience building products that customers actually love and use.

Can lead & mentor: Strong mentoring skills with the ability to guide and develop other engineers.

Are a collaborator: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Think like an owner: You don’t wait for perfect instructions; you see a gap and you close it.

Turn messy problems into clear, actionable plans: You can navigate complex technical puzzles and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Languages/Frameworks: TypeScript, Node.js, React

Architecture: Serverless, CQRS, event-sourced, event-driven

Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions

You are looking for a strict 40-hour work week

You need fully defined scopes and stable priorities to perform well

You prefer staying high-level and avoiding hands-on execution
